The Westville Blackhawks softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Hammond Central Wolves to 1 in the Blackhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Westville improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to South Central (Union Mills, IN) to clash with the Satellites in a Porter County game on Tuesday, April 30. The Satellites come into the game with a record of 12-1. South Central won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN)

In their next game, the Wolves clash with the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 1. Hammond Central will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Blazers come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 16-10 non-league win over Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN).
