The Lexington Minutemen softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Perkins Pirates to 0 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lexington improves its record to 19-0 on the year. The Minutemen host River Valley (Caledonia, OH) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, April 29. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 13-3. River Valley won 5-1 in their recent league game against Highland (Marengo, OH)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Perkins will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 11-5 record after their 1-0 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH).
