Sullivan West Bulldogs (Lake Huntington, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Liberty Indians (Liberty, NY), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Chester for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Sullivan West will battle a Hambletonians squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Hambletonians record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Highland (Highland, NY) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Highland won 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Dover (Dover Plains, NY)
