New York High School Softball - Newark falls to Lyons

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Lyons Lions softball team scored a nice 19-2 win over the Newark Reds.
Coming up next, the Lions battle the Red Creek Rams (Red Creek, NY) in a Wayne County outing, on Monday, April 29. Lyons will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Rams enter the outing with a 0-9 record after their 23-4 league loss to Marion (Marion, NY).
The Reds (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Geneva (Geneva, NY). The Panthers enter the Finger Lakes East outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Geneva was routed by Honeoye (Honeoye, NY), 17-12, in a non-league outing.
