Virginia High School Softball - West Springfield gets by West Potomac

The West Springfield Spartans got by the visiting West Potomac Wolverines softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Saturday's league battle.
The Spartans (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Rams go into the Patriot battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Robinson nudged South County (Lorton, VA), 7-2, in a league battle.
The Wolverines now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a Patriot battle on Monday, April 29. West Potomac will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 15-2.
