The Little Falls Mounties (Little Falls, NY) baseball trounced the host Herkimer Magicians (Herkimer, NY), 12-2 in Monday's league challenge.

The Mounties now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Canada Valley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 29. Little Falls will clash with a Nighthawks team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Frankfort-Schuyler (Frankfort, NY). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Herkimer drops to 1-2 on the year. The Magicians travel to Adirondack (Boonville, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a Section 3 Center State I challenge on Wednesday, April 29.
