California High School Baseball - Riverside Prep edges Summit

April 27, 2026: Fontana, CA 92336

The Riverside Prep Silver Knights baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Summit SkyHawks to 3 in the Silver Knights non-league win on Monday.

The Silver Knights now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paraclete for a non-league test on Saturday, May 2. Riverside Prep will clash with a Spirits team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA). The Spirits record now stands at 6-5.

With the defeat, Summit drops to 9-9 on the year. The Skyhawks travel to Redlands East Valley (Redlands, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, May 1. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-11. Redlands East Valley lost 14-4 in their recent league test against Beaumont (Beaumont, CA)
