The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) and the visiting Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), observed Broadway's softball team notch a victory over Monticello by a final score of 11-0.

The Gobblers (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights go into the Valley bout with a 12-2 record. In their last bout, Turner Ashby gained a win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 11-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson bout, on Tuesday, April 28. Monticello will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Black Knights go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 19-13 non-league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
