Virginia High School Softball - Central Wise bounces Union

The Central Wise Warriors softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Union Bears to 0 in the Warriors league win on Tuesday.
The Warriors now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Battle for a Mountain 7 battle on Friday, May 1. Central Wise will confront a Trojans team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Lee (Jonesville, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Union moves to 3-7 on the season. The Bears host Lee (Jonesville, VA) to confront the Generals in a Mountain 7 battle on Thursday, May 7. The Generals come into the battle with a record of 11-6.
