Virginia High School Baseball - Monticello loses to Albemarle

The Albemarle Patriots baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Monticello Mustangs to 0 in the Patriots league victory on Thursday.
The Patriots (9-2) will now prepare for their match against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the Jefferson match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Orange County was overwhelmed by Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 5-1, in a league match.
The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions go into the Jefferson match with a 3-3 record.
