In Thursday's league game, the visiting Waubonsie Valley Warriors baseball team scored a tight 5-0 victory over the DeKalb Barbs.
The Warriors (10-8) will now prepare for their game against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders go into the non-league game with a 16-2 record. In their last game, Huntley tipped Cary-Grove (Cary, IL), 7-1, in a league game.
The Barbs (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 12-5 record. In their last game, Sycamore was overwhelmed by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 3-2, in a league game.
