California High School Baseball - San Lorenzo Valley holds off Scotts Valley

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars (Felton, CA) and the host Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA), saw San Lorenzo Valley's baseball squad knock off Scotts Valley by a count of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Harbor Pirates (Santa Cruz, CA) in a Santa Cruz Coast battle, on Tuesday, May 3. San Lorenzo Valley will attempt to move on its 8-14 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 12-10 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Lynbrook (San Jose, CA).

The Falcons now possess a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stevenson for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 30. Scotts Valley will play a Pirates squad coming off a 14-13 league win over Gonzales (Gonzales, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 10-5.
