The Union Academy Cardinals volleyball team (Monroe, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC)

The Mariners (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Arborbrook Christian Academy nipped Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 12. Union Academy will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
