Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels confront the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers (Batesburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 29. Mid-Carolina will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC).
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-10 record.
