Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 3. Woodside will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Bruins enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA).

The Patriots now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Hampton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3.
