The South Fayette Lions walloped the visiting Sewickley Academy lacrosse team by a final score of 17-3 in Thursday's league match.

With the win, South Fayette betters its record to 8-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to play the Quakers in a WPIAL 2A 1 match on Tuesday, May 3. The Quakers go into the match with a record of 11-0. Quaker Valley won 14-3 in their recent league match against Trinity (Washington, PA)

With the defeat, Sewickley Academy drops to 3-6 on the season. The host Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Titans in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 4. The Titans go into the match with a record of 9-3.
