In Thursday's league test, the host St. Andrew's Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Wilmington Friends Quakers.
The Cardinals now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mark's for a non-league match on Saturday, April 30.
With the defeat, Wilmington Friends drops to 4-3 on the season. The Quakers travel to Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE) to play the Seahawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 3. The Seahawks go into the match with a record of 1-1.
