In Thursday's league battle, the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV), by a count of 11-4.
Coming up next, the Maroon Knights clash with the Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 3. Wheeling Central Catholic will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 18-3 non-league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA).
The Cadets now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host George Washington for a WVSLA -DI West battle on Saturday, April 30. Linsly will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 5-6.
