California High School Softball - Acalanes bounces Miramonte

Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Dons now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campolindo for a Diablo - Valley challenge on Monday, May 2. Acalanes will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 18-5 league win over Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Miramonte moves to 1-9 on the season. The Matadors travel to Campolindo (Moraga, CA) to face the Cougars in a Diablo - Valley match on Tuesday, May 3. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 4-8.
