In Thursday's league outing, the host Polo Marcos softball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Amboy Clippers.

Coming up next, the Marcos battle the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 30. Polo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Steamers enter the outing with a 7-8 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL).
