The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Baker Gators (Baker, FL) and the visiting Pine Forest Eagles (Pensacola, FL), saw Baker's softball squad nip Pine Forest by a count of 8-1.

The Gators now sport a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a non-league match on Monday, May 2. Baker will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Central Christian (Robertsdale, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Pine Forest falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Gulf Breeze (Gulf Breeze, FL) to face the Dolphins in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 3. The Dolphins enter the match with a record of 13-11. Gulf Breeze lost 4-2 in their recent non-league match against Tate (Cantonment, FL)
