Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles/Banshees now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasure Ridge Park for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. Bethlehem will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 16-7 non-league loss to Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Washington County falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Commanders host Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY) to battle the Generals in a District 19 challenge on Monday, May 2. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Thomas Nelson won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Bardstown (Bardstown, KY)
