Virginia High School Softball - Our Lady of Good Counsel knocked off by Bishop O'Connell

In Thursday's league contest, the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), by a margin of 12-4.
With the triumph, Bishop O'Connell moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Knights travel to St. John's (Washington, DC) to play the Cadets in a Washington Catholic contest on Friday, April 29. The Cadets come into the contest with a record of 2-4. St. John's won 10-6 in their recent league contest against Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD)
In their next game, the Falcons play the St. Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a Washington Catholic contest, on Saturday, April 30. Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Chantilly (Chantilly, VA).
