Tech Boston Academy/Academy of Public Service Bears (Dorchester, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Brighton/Boston Academy Bengals (Brighton, MA), 17-12 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watertown for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4.

With the loss, Brighton/Boston Academy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bengals host New Mission (Boston, MA) to face the Titans in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. New Mission lost 17-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Boston International (Jamaica Plain, MA)
