Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host John Paul II Golden Warrriors (Ridgeland, SC), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 8-0 record.

With the loss, John Paul II falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Golden warrriors host Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. Patrick Henry Academy won 21-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC)
