Deer Park Stags (Deer Park, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Riverside Rams (Chattaroy, WA), 11-5 in a league challenge.

The Stags now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medical Lake for a 1A Northeast challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Deer Park will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Colville (Colville, WA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Riverside falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA) to face the Eagles in a 1A Northeast challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Lakeside won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Newport (Newport, WA)
