With the triumph, Edwardsville moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Tigers host Alton (Alton, IL) to clash with the Redbirds in a Southwestern game on Thursday, May 5. The Redbirds come into the game with a record of 8-12. Alton won 8-7 in their recent league game against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 3. Granite City will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Lancers come into the game with a 15-7 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Nolensville (Nolensville, TN).
