The Hilmar Yellowjackets the host Escalon Cougars softball squad by a count of 6-4 in Thursday's league battle.

The Yellowjackets (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Ripon (Ripon, CA). The Indians go into the Trans Valley League battle with a 15-3 record.

The Cougars now sport a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Modesto Christian for a Trans Valley League battle on Tuesday, May 3.
