Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Etowah Blue Devils (Attalla, AL) and the visiting Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL), witnessed Etowah's softball squad tip Oxford by a count of 6-3.

The Blue Devils now sport a 12-19 record. They play next when they travel to Ashville for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 3. Etowah will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-18.

With the loss, Oxford moves to 7-15 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Pell City (Pell City, AL) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 3. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 28-11. Pell City won 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL)
