The Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) softball routed the visiting Hylton Bulldogs (Woodbridge, VA), 14-5 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bruins (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 3-15 record. In their last bout, Alexandria City was routed by Lake Braddock (Burke, VA), 8-1, in a league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Woodbridge for a Cardinal bout on Tuesday, May 3. Hylton will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-3.
