Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Galeton Tigers (Galeton, PA), 7-4 in a league challenge.

The Green Wave now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otto-Eldred for a North Tier challenge on Monday, May 2. Oswayo Valley will face a Terrors squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Smethport (Smethport, PA). The Terrors record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Galeton falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Coudersport (Coudersport, PA) to face the Falcons in a Northern Tier - Large challenge on Friday, April 29. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Coudersport lost 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA)
