The Miller Place Panthers routed the host John Glenn Knights softball squad by a count of 17-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hampton Bays (Hampton Bays, NY). The Baymen go into the Section 11 A-6 battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Hampton Bays was routed by Shoreham-Wading River (Shoreham, NY), 10-0, in a league battle.

The Knights now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hampton Bays for a Section 11 A-6 battle on Tuesday, May 3. John Glenn will meet a Baymen squad coming off a 15-1 league loss to Miller Place (Miller Place, NY). The Baymen record now stands at 2-12.
