The Lake Central Indians softball team (St. John, IN), was tipped 1-0 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN)
Coming up next, the Kingsmen clash with the Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 29. Penn will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN).
The Indians (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Trojans come into the Duneland test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Chesterton edged La Porte (La Porte, IN), 5-2, in a league test.
