Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL), 14-1 in a league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 18-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kewanee for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. Rockridge will battle a Boilermakers squad coming off a 5-2 league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Monmouth-Roseville falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Hall (Spring Valley, IL) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 1-13. Hall won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL)
