Tennessee High School Softball - York Institute loses to Wartburg Central

The Wartburg Central Bulldogs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host York Institute Dragons to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Wartburg Central improves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN) to clash with the Bobcats in a 1A District 3 game on Tuesday, May 3. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 13-5.
In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 2. York Institute will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 10-4 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Monterey (Monterey, TN).
