Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR) and the visiting East Linn Christian Academy Eagles (Lebanon, OR), saw Santiam's baseball squad knock off East Linn Christian Academy by a count of 8-5.

Coming up next, the Wolverines play the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 battle, on Tuesday, May 2. Santiam will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a 19-1 record after their 13-7 league win over Regis (Stayton, OR).

The Eagles now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Regis for a 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 battle on Tuesday, May 2. East Linn Christian Academy will play a Rams squad coming off a 13-7 league loss to Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR). The Rams record now stands at 7-5.
