West Genesee Wildcats (Camillus, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, West Genesee upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY) to battle the Silver Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, April 29. The Silver Warriors come into the test with a record of 6-6.

With the defeat, Fayetteville-Manlius falls to 2-7 on the season. The Hornets travel to Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY) to battle the Northstars in a Section 3 Colonial - National test on Monday, May 1. The Northstars come into the test with a record of 4-3. Cicero-North Syracuse won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY)
