The River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) baseball trounced the host Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN), 18-4 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Ingots encounter the Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) in a Greater Southshore contest, on Monday, May 1. River Forest will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 1-10 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Hammond Central (Hammond, IN).
