The North Medford Black Tornado baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting South Eugene Axe to 3 in the Black Tornado league victory on Friday.
The Black Tornado (14-3) will now prepare for their match against South Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Axe go into the 6A Southwest match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, South Eugene was overwhelmed by Willamette (Eugene, OR), 11-7, in a league match.
The Axe (5-10) will now prepare for their match against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado go into the 6A Southwest match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, North Medford gained a win over Sheldon (Eugene, OR), 4-1, in a league match.
