In Friday's league game, the host Olmsted Owls baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the South Park Sparks.

The Owls (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record.

The Sparks (2-4) will now prepare for their game against McKinley (Buffalo, NY). The Macks go into the Buffalo Cornell Cup I game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, McKinley was overwhelmed by City Honors (Buffalo, NY), 14-1, in a league game.
