In Friday's league battle, the visiting Salem Spartans soccer squad scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Hidden Valley Titans.
The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins come into the River Ridge battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Blacksburg nudged Glass (Lynchburg, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Titans (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons go into the River Ridge bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Christiansburg by Salem (Salem, VA), 3-1, in a league bout.
