The Alameda Hornets got by the visiting Arroyo Dons baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Friday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 6-15 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph Notre Dame for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. Alameda will face a Pilots team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 8-8.
Next, the Dons face the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, May 3. Arroyo will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Highlanders enter the bout with a 6-10 record after their 22-4 non-league win over Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA).
