Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Liberty Hawks (Madera, CA), 8-7 in a league test.

With the win, Yosemite upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Badgers host Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA) to battle the Tribe in a test on Wednesday, May 3. The Tribe come into the test with a record of 14-8. Chowchilla won 18-6 in their recent league test against Minarets (O'Neals, CA)

With the defeat, Liberty falls to 5-6 on the season. The Hawks host Caruthers (Caruthers, CA) to battle the Blue Raiders in a test on Tuesday, May 9. The Blue Raiders come into the test with a record of 5-8.
