California High School Baseball - Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences loses to Sylmar

The Sylmar Spartans crushed the visiting Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers baseball team by a count of 9-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host San Fernando for a bout on Monday, May 1. Sylmar will face a Tigers team coming off a 29-0 non-league win over Torres (Los Angeles, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 16-4.

Next, the Vipers face the Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA) in a bout, on Monday, May 1. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Hunters enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 16-6 league win over Vaughn (San Fernando, CA).
