The Mt. Hope Huskies lacrosse squad (Bristol, RI), was overwhelmed 12-8 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI)
Coming up next, the Knights meet the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 3 challenge, on Tuesday, May 2. Providence Country Day will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 16-0 league loss to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI).
The Huskies now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Westerly for a Division 3 challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Mt. Hope will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-0.
