The Alcoa Tornadoes soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Cosby Eagles to 0 in the Tornadoes league victory on Friday.
Next, the Tornadoes face the West Rebels (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Alcoa will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 14-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Webb (Knoxville, TN).
The Eagles now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cocke County for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 4. Cosby will face a Fighting Cocks team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN). The Fighting Cocks record now stands at 8-2.
