In Friday's non-league outing, the host Rome Free Academy Black Knights softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Baldwinsville Bees.
Coming up next, the Black Knights encounter the Notre Dame Jugglers (Utica, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley outing, on Monday, May 1. Rome Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
The Bees (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against West Genesee (Camillus, NY). The Wildcats enter the Section 3 Central Counties - National outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, West Genesee tipped Auburn (Auburn, NY), 8-5, in a league outing.
