St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The North Stars now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South for a DuKane challenge on Monday, May 1. St. Charles North will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Batavia falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Naperville North won 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL)
