In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Chippewa Hills Warriors softball team scored a close 13-12 win over the White Cloud Indians.
Coming up next, the Warriors encounter the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) in a Central State Activities Association-Gold outing, on Monday, May 1. Chippewa Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 0-3 record after their 21-1 league loss to Grant (Grant, MI).
The Indians (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Wildcats enter the Central State Activities Association-Silver outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Lakeview was tipped by Newaygo (Newaygo, MI), 12-9, in a non-league outing.
