Maine High School Softball - Morse bounces Erskine Academy

The Morse Shipbuilders routed the visiting Erskine Academy Eagles softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Friday's league battle.

The Shipbuilders (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers go into the Class B South battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Medomak Valley was routed by Gardiner (Gardiner, ME), 2-1, in a league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Messalonskee for a non-league battle on Monday, May 1. Erskine Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
